Kriskindlmarkt
The Sparta Kriskindlmarkt is an European-style outdoor Christmas Market that offers a variety of food and beverage options, as well as unique shopping opportunities. It features 11 permanent huts, 22 collapsible huts, and 9 food and beverage outlets.
Creekside Concerts
Kick off your weekend with live music and local charm at Creekside Concerts in Sparta, WI! Hosted in conjunction with the Shovelmen, this free summer concert series takes place every other Friday night starting in mid-June along Beaver Creek. Grab a lawn chair, gather with friends, and enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to great tunes right in the heart of town. It’s the perfect excuse to head downtown early, explore local shops and dining, and ease into your weekend with fantastic live entertainment the whole community can enjoy!
Fall Fest
Sparta Fall Fest brings small-town charm to mid-October with a downtown celebration on Water Street featuring craft vendors, food trucks, live music, and a pie-eating contest for all ages. The fun continues into the evening at Evans-Bosshard Park with a Chili Cook-Off and a movie under the stars - free and open to the whole community.
Prost!
This food and beer walk will begin on the corner of Franklin and Water Street. Participants will stroll through Downtown Sparta and Mueller Square sampling food and drinks, and collecting validations on their passport from each vendor they visit.
Cabin Fever
Cabin Fever is Sparta's most anticipated February night out, featuring a great meal, good company, and high-energy raffles for firearms and other top-tier prizes. Tickets and sponsorships sell out fast, so secure your spot before it's too late!
Concerts & Movies in the Park
Every Wednesday night this summer, Concerts in the Park brings free live music from regional bands to the Kiwanis Bandshell at Evans-Bosshard Park, with food trucks and a rotating local nonprofit concession stand adding to the fun. Grab a lawn chair, catch up with neighbors, and unwind with a summer sunset by the creek.
