Mission Statement

To foster community prosperity and improve the quality of life through cooperation, promotion, education and active leadership.

To enhance economic benefits and provide networking opportunities for members.

The Chamber has four committees that meet monthly (or as needed): Ambassadors, Education, Promotion and Tourism.

The Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce has two full-time and one summer-time weekend employees. Holly Grady is the Executive Director. Our staff members are: Barb Bendel-Sandvigen, Jaime Schultz & Shelby Mantzke.

The Chamber office is located in a restored Northwestern Train Depot owned and maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The hours of operation are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday from Oct.31 to April 30th. From May 1 to Nov. 1 the office is open every day. The Chamber Depot office serves as an information / visitor center with brochures from local businesses, area and state publications. It is the official headquarters for the LaCrosse River State Trail and sells merchandise, along with bike trail passes.
